ISLAMABAD: The data of the Chinese nationals in the federal capital has been initially compiled to take special security measures, along with the nature of their engagements and arrival in Islamabad.
It has been learnt that details of the objectives of their stay in Islamabad have also been collected.
All information in this regard has been sent to the Ministry of Interior. According to this information, around 2,500 Chinese students are studying in different universities.
More than 1000 Chinese nationals living in Islamabad are associated with CPEC. According to the sources, special measures will be taken for the security of the Chinese citizens on the instructions of the Ministry of Interior.
The security of the Chinese citizens will be ensured through Safe City cameras. Apart from this, the Special Branch has also been instructed to take measures for the security of the Chinese.
