Govt to reply to Khursheed’s letter on ToRs within 2-3 days
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has received a letter from the Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah on the Terms of Reference (ToRs) regarding the probe into the PanamaLeaks on Thursday.
According to media reports, the prime minister has sent this letter to the Ministry of Law to prepare a reply. The reply of the government would be sent to the opposition within two to three days.
While reacting to the letter, the legal team of the government said that the ToRs of the opposition were defective and mala fide.Earlier, Syed Khursheed Shah had written a letter to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, asking the government to hold a dialogue with the opposition parties over the ToRs for the inquiry commission investigating the PanamaLeaks, reported Geo News.
