LAHORE: Minister for Communication and Works Department (C&W) Malik Sohaib has announced opening of main carriage of the Southern Loop Three Ring Road before Eid.

He said the process of laying the final layer of asphalt on the Southern Loop Three Ring Road is progressing rapidly. Teams from the Punjab Highway Authority, Nespak and FWO are working day and night. They revealed that the construction work on the right side of the Lake City Road Carriageway from Raiwind to 10 kilometres has been completed, and construction work on the left side up to 5 kilometres has also been completed, the minister said.
