KU postpones Senate meeting, exams due to elections
The exams would now be held on February 14 at the same timings and in the same examination centres
The University of Karachi’s (KU’s) registrar announced on Friday that the meeting of the varsity’s Senate scheduled for February 6 had been postponed.
He said the members of the senate would be informed later about the new date of the meeting. According to the registrar, the decision to postpone the Senate meeting was taken in pursuance of a notification issued by the Sindh government. He added that the KU would remain closed from February 6 till 9 due to the general elections.
Separately, the KU’s controller of examinations said the morning and evening examinations for the bachelor of physical education and masters of education scheduled for February 6 had also been postponed.
