Raja Riaz’s assets up by Rs 11.5m in one year

Raja Riaz’s assets have increased by a total of Rs 37 million since 2018

FAISALABAD: The assets of PMLN candidate from NA-104 and former opposition leader Raja Riaz Ahmed have increased by Rs 11.5 million in one year.

Raja Riaz’s assets have increased by a total of Rs 37 million since 2018. In the nomination papers submitted to ECP, he has declared assets of Rs 48.7 million. He submitted Rs 4.492 Income Tax in the financial year 2023. According to the documents, Raja Riaz owns 205 Kanals of agricultural land and a paper mill.

His income for the financial year 2023 was Rs 10.4 million. He submitted tax on agricultural income of Rs 3,000 in 2021, Rs 117,000 in 2022 and Rs 300,000 in 2023.

In addition, in the last three years, he made three trips to Europe, the last trip was for eight days, on which Rs 1.7 million were spent.
