KARACHI: Faysal Bank Limited (FBL) and Boltay Huroof, a social enterprise that promotes braille literacy, launched braille inclusive hiring forms to mark the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs).
The initiative aims to create an inclusive work environment that focuses on equality and empowers PWDs to seek employment opportunities at FBL, one of Pakistan's leading banks.
At an event held at FBL headquarters, the bank showcased the contributions of its PWD staff and unveiled the braille hiring forms, which were developed in collaboration with Boltay Huroof.
The event was attended by senior management from both FBL and Boltay Huroof, as well as representatives from the State Bank of Pakistan, which has been supporting financial inclusion of PWDs.
