ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Secretary Information Faisal Karim Kundi said on Sunday that it was the wish of the people of Dera Ismail (DI) Khan that he should defeat Maulana Fazlur Rahman for the second time too from NA-44.
"I will defeat Maulana Fazlur Rehman from DI Khan for the second time," he said in a reaction to press conference of JUI-F leaders in Karachi.
Faisal Karim Kundi is contesting elections from Dera Ismail Khan and earlier, he defeated Maulana Fazlur Rehman in 2008 elections. Kundi said Maulana Fazlur Rahman was running away from elections to avoid defeat.
He alleges Maulana Fazlur Rehman of making excuses of economy, coldness and law and order for delay in elections.
