Clear vision, strong character key to success, says governor
LAHORE: Punjab Governor Muhammad Balighur Rehman has said that a clear vision, strong character, moral values, continuous improvement, non-stop learning and patience are key to success.
He said this while addressing the 25th Convocation of the University of Management and Technology (UMT) here on Thursday. Around 3,799 graduates were awarded degrees in the convocation. Provincial Minister for Livestock, Transport, Mines & Minerals Punjab, Ibrahim Hasan Murad UMT Chairman Dr Ahmad Umar Murad, Vice-Chairman Farooq Salman Murad, Rector Dr Asif Raza, Acting President UMT Lt Gen (r) Javed Hasan, Director General UMT Prof Abid Sherwani, Deans, Directors, students and their parents attended the ceremony.
Governor applauded hard work, resilience, and dedication of the students and faculty and attributed the collective achievements to teamwork, acknowledging the crucial role played by parents and teachers.
