Hadi wins silver at Qatar Open Taekwondo

KARACHI: The 11-year-old Syed Abdul Hadi Jafri bagged silver medal for Pakistan at the Qatar Open Taekwondo Championship 2023 in Doha.
Hadi, who hails from Karachi, competed against several international players, and won the silver medal against 20 players in -36 kg children category. The first win was against the Saudi Arabia.
The second win was against Qatar. The quarter final win was against Bahrain. With the victory in the semi-final against Oman, Hadi reache the final.
However, in the final against Bahrain, he lost by only 2 points. Hadi was supported by his team manager Faraz Jafri, coach Bilal Mateen and Head of Team Syed Abdul Rehman Shah.
