Biz team in Spain for trade talks
LAHORE: A high-profile business delegation from Pakistan visited Spain to explore opportunities for promoting bilateral trade and economic relations between the two countries.
The delegation, led by Muhammad Nadeem Qureshi, Regional Chairman of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), represented various sectors, including agriculture, packaging, textile, construction, stainless steel, edible crude oil and auto parts.
The delegates held meetings with their Spanish counterparts and discussed potential areas for business collaboration between the private sectors of Pakistan and Spain.
Qureshi said the delegation aimed to highlight the country's soft image and potential, and invited Spanish investors to avail of the opportunities in Pakistan, especially in agriculture, mining, science and technology, food products, textile made-ups and auto-parts sectors. He also urged the commercial attache of the Pakistan Embassy in Spain to provide the latest market intelligence reports to the Pakistani business community to enhance exports to Spain.
The delegation also had one-on-one business meetings with the Spanish Chamber of Commerce during its visit.
