For all those who are thinking, it’s a women magazine so what are all these guys doing in here? Well, that is precisely the reason we have chosen to feature our new age heroes this week...

celebrities

We have more than often talked about our favourite female actresses, the fresh talent, and the veterans, who will rule the entertainment industry and who will fizzle out easily. But we have rarely talked about the heartthrobs that keep us women glued to the TV screens. Admit it girls, we watch a lot of shows solely because our favourite hero is featuring in it.

So, this week You! celebrates some of the handsome hunks from our current TV scene, who are racing our hearts and make us go ‘awww’ on them...

Osman Khalid Butt

Not a new name in the industry but has gotten more screen time in the recent years. He started off his career through theatre in Islamabad and then moved onto doing vlogs that caught attention. He has done some remarkable plays like ‘Aunn Zara’, ‘Baaghi’ and ‘Diyar-e-Dil’ and has worked in movies like ‘Zibahkhana’, ‘Slackistan’, ‘Balu Mahi’ and this year’s release ‘Baaji’ with Meera. His latest stint ‘Surkh Chandi’ just concluded on TV while he is currently seen winning hearts in ‘Ehd-e-Wafa’.

Osman Khalid cannot just act but he is also a writer, lyricist and choreographer. Oh and did I forget he is immensely cute? This tall, lean and handsome man with poise in his stature is our complete package.

Ali Rehman Khan

Ali Rehman Khan started off his career with films and then moved to the TV world due to more work being done on small screen. This good looking chap slowly and gradually proved his acting skills time and again. He was extremely lovable as Suhaib Bakhtiyar Khan in ‘Diyar-e-Dil’ and immensely despicable as Ammar in ‘Khaas’.

He was your carefree young man in ‘Janaan’ and was our hot-headed street smart guy in ‘Parchi’. Ali Rehman has proved himself as a diversified actor who can make his presence felt not only on small screen but cinema too. So watch out for this extremely handsome and talented guy in the years to come.

Bilal Abbas

This young man with killer looks is new to the industry but has already made a mark for himself. Bilal Abbas made his debut in 2016 with ‘Saya-e-Dewar Bhi Nahi’ and played memorable roles in ‘O Rangreza’ and ‘Balaa’.

His claim to fame, however, became this year’s superhit drama serial ‘Cheekh’ in which he played the antagonist against Saba Qamar, a powerhouse of talent. It was a tough job to get noticed opposite Saba Qamar so, hats off to Bilal for his memorable performance and thus, getting a spot in this list.

Ali Kazmi

Well, he is not really from the current lot but hey, he is one amazing actor. Having being in the industry for a long time, Ali Kazmi quit in the middle of 90s for around a decade and it was not until a few years ago, he started acting regularly. I must admit, the years of absence turned him into a better actor.

Getting noticed from 2014’s ‘Jackson Heights’, Ali Kazmi proved that he has not just worked on his looks but he can actually act so well. Some of his noticeable works are ‘Baaghi’, ‘Badnaam’, ‘Jaal’ on TV while ‘Dobara Phir Se’, ‘Motorcycle Girl’ and ‘Baaji’ in films. He has proved that he does not need to be in the lead to get space in our hearts but he can do a small character and make us fall in love with him. What else were you expecting from Rahat Kazmi and Sahira Kazmi’s genes?

Emmad Irfani

Judge me on having him on the list but I said this is for the heartthrobs, if you want to read about the best actors, you will have to wait for our next article.

So, Emmad Irfani is a former supermodel and I have one word for him; GORGEOUS. Since, his modelling career slowed down, he tried his luck at acting and I have no qualms in saying that he has improved tremendously over the years.

I remember some of his initial works, when I thought good looks can’t save you in acting but he just proved me wrong and is not just surviving but doing well too. He did some remarkable work in ‘Ek Thi Misaal’, ‘Shikwa’, ‘Kuch Na Kaho’ and this year’s talk of the town, ‘Cheekh’. His character Shayan in ‘Cheekh’ was someone every woman wants to be with and he played it effortlessly. Another good addition to our industry; good looks and good acting!
