Yashma Gill is a new sensation in the showbiz world. With her dark brown waves and smouldering brown eyes, actress Yashma Gill has won the hearts of her fans across the country owing to her glamorous looks and peculiar style of acting. Gill made her acting debut in 2017 with 'Meri Saheli Meri Bhabhi'. She started with supporting roles and followed it with lead roles in acclaimed projects including 'Ki Jaana Main Kaun' (2018); 'Qurban'; 'Kab Mere Kehlaoge' and recently concluded 'Piya Ka Naam Diya' on Geo.

What is your most memorable drama serial to-date?

'Qurban' mainly because I made so many friends over there and I actually learned how to act through my role in 'Qurban'.


Is acting your passion or just a time pass?

It's my passion.

Your favourite international labels:

'Off-White' has exactly what I want so it has to be my favourite, and I really like 'Zara' too.

Your favourite designer:

I think it would be unfair if I name any one but I like Rizwan Baig, Deepak Perwani and one local brand; 'Mantra'.

Your favourite photographer:

I have worked with Raza Jaffri a lot, and he is my favourite.

What do you usually wear in daily life?

Night suit and Gym wear.

What is one cosmetic you cannot do without?

Lip tint.

When stepping out, do you wear makeup all the time?

I am not a makeup person at all but there is one thing that I can't go without that is my lip balm.

Your idea of romance:

It should be pure, but practical at the same time.

One thing you like best about yourself

I underestimate myself so it makes me work harder. Also, I go into guilt trip easily, so that keeps me away from doing bad things.

I complain a lot.

I am a couch potato and I love to stay in my bed. I usually end up binge watching something on Netflix.

My new neon shoes from Charles and Keith.

What are your healthy habits?

I drink a lot of water, I never sleep with makeup on and I brush my teeth.

Positivity and peace of mind.

My sanity.

What's your favourite restaurant?

I am a dhabba person, so any of the street restaurants are my favourite.

Your all time favourite movie?

'Dilwalay Dulhaniya Le Jaiyenge'.

What bores you the most?

Staying idle bores me the most.

You are crazy about...

Sleeping, working and working out.

Are you a social person or a loner?

I am kind of both. I am social if my friends are around but if they are not around then I am a complete loner because I have limited number of friends.

What's your favourite breakfast food?

I eat whatever my mom gives me. Though if someone asks me then I would love to have French toast.

Your beauty regimen:

As soon as I get home, I wash my face, apply toner and then moisturizer.

Which superstar do you envy the most?

I don't envy anyone.

Song that always gets you on the dance floor?

I am big on dancing so anything that has a good beat will get me on the dance floor.

What's the last thing you bought?

Pairs of shoes.

You get super uncomfortable when...

When there is negative energy around me, or if I know someone is lying.

The best gift you have ever received?

It was from my Mother. She wrote me a letter on my birthday and sent it to me when I was studying in Australia - the best gift I have ever received.

The best thing that's been said about you

I have been told that I am sweet and caring.

What's the best part of being famous?

I don't think I am that famous yet. Though, you get so much respect and love from people, and it is such a warm and crazy feeling when you are being loved more than you deserve.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Somewhere I am really happy.
