You! How many dramas / serials / films you have done so far?

I have quite a few projects under my belt. I believe, I have starred in seven serials and five films (some international and some Pakistani). I have also been part of four short British films so far.

You! What is your most memorable film or drama serial to-date?

Most memorable film has to be ‘Janaan’.

You! Is acting your passion, a time pass, or a way of making money?

Money is definitely NOT a factor as I run my own business in Manchester. I have stated time and time again that acting is a labour of love for me. I make a financial loss on most projects in Pakistan as I am based out of the UK. This means pay packages fall short of covering flights, hotel stays and of course the rupee to pound conversion rate swallows up anything that is left.

You! Your favourite international labels:

I am more of a high-street girl. I am not a slave to designer labels; I wear what looks good on me and what I feel comfortable in.

You! What do you usually wear in daily life?

In the winter, I wear slouchy sweaters with tights, I live in fur lined, winter boots as the weather is harsh in Manchester. The objective is to be warm, comfortable and productive. If I am at work then it is smart office wear.

You! What is one cosmetic you cannot do without?

I cannot live without my sunscreen and face oil.

You! One thing you like best about yourself...

My ability to forgive quickly and to ask for forgiveness.

You! Your favourite co-star:

I am a fun loving person so I get along with most people so too many to count.

You! Your most irritating habit:

My impatience, I loathe waiting around.

You! You don’t like people who are...

I cannot stand bullies, misogynists or manipulative people. It is better to be an honest enemy rather than a fake friend.

My family, my partner and putting a smile on someone’s face.

You! Your most valuable possession:

My health - nothing is more valuable than this.

Anywhere secluded by the beach.

You! Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Honestly, I have stopped planning beyond the three-month mark; it is futile to plan that far ahead.

I would love to visit my childhood in the ’90s again and advise myself properly on various aspects of life.

You! Song that always gets you on the dance floor:

Too many to count.

Salad and soup.

My dad wrote me a poem once.

I am exactly where I am meant to be.
