However, staying unemployed is not an option as she needs to earn in order to help her family make ends meet. The circumstances in Louisa's life are a downer, but she never gets disheartened and has an infectious cheerful attitude.

However, things change for a bit when she gets employed as a caregiver for a paralyzed wealthy young banker Will Traynor (Sam Claflin). At first, he reacts coldly towards her but with time, Will's cynical outlook starts to change. As their bond deepens, they become more than friends. The film takes a twist when Louisa learns that Will is sick of his paralysed life and has given his parents six months before they bring him to Switzerland for euthanasia. After hearing the truth Louisa secretly makes it her mission to change his mind and show him that life is worth living. Will her efforts work? Well, you will have to watch the movie to find out.

Love & Friendship

Based on Jane Austen's epic novel 'Lady Susan' written in 1794, 'Love & Friendship' is a romantic comedy that is a must watch. Written and directed by Whit Stillman, the film stars Kate Beckinsale, Chloë Sevigny, Xavier Samuel, and Stephen Fry. The movie is set in 1790 and follows the exploits of a clever and calculating Lady Susan, as she pursues the wealthy Sir James for marriage. The catch here is that she is widowed and has a daughter who is also of a marriageable age. Sir James offers his hand in marriage for Susan's daughter Frederica. However, Susan has other plans and decides to keep Sir James to herself. Soon enough, her plots and tricks work and Sir James agrees to marry her. Her daughter on the other hand, falls in love with Reginald DeCourcy. The mother and daughter both are able to get married to well settled husbands and are all set to lead happy lives till there is a twist in the plot in the form of Susan's pregnancy. Without a doubt, this movie is a wonderfully crafted story that will charm Austen fans with its wit and sparkling wordplay.

Cafe Society

This movie created much hype and managed to grab a lot of attention even before its release due to its talented cast. Initially settling for friendship but ultimately heartbroken, Bobby returns to the Bronx and begins working in a nightclub. Everything falls into place when he finds romance with another girl who is a beautiful socialite and things continue to go smoothly until Vonnie walks back into his life and captures his heart once again. Romantic, bittersweet and funny, the movie turns Hollywood inside out by showcasing all that is shallow in the world of glamour.

Southside with You

'Southside with You' is different from any other movie in the list. Why, you ask? It's because the movie is based on a real incident from the lives of Barrack and Michelle Obama.
