Balochistan is the largest province of Pakistan according to area. This beautiful province boasts not only mountains and dessert but also has many beautiful beaches like Gadani, Kund Malir, Gwadar, Sonmiani, Ormara, Astola Island beaches, etc. But do you know where these beautiful beaches are?
Kund Malir Beach
Kund Malir, near Zero point on Makran Coastal Highway, is one of the most famous beaches in not only Pakistan but of the whole world. It can compete with any other beach with its clean water and fascinating, but lacks basic facilities like CNG or petrol pumps, hotels, the internet and even food and water.
Gwadar is also known for China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). It is famous for its beautiful beaches. There is a 5-star hotel there, too.
Surprised at the name? Of course, it sounds foreign all right, but is in Pasni, Balochistan. Here, you can enjoy scuba diving, fishing, swimming, but can’t get water for drinking. If you want to visit this island, you must take food and water with you.
Gadani beach is located in Hub district of Lasbela, a little distance away from Karachi. It is charming and peaceful, so can go there and relax.
Ormara, on Makran Coastal Highway, is between Gwadar and Karachi. Here, one can find many natural and awesome beaches, the most eye-catching are two hammerhead-shaped peninsulas and the Ormara Turtle beaches.
Pishukan beach is one of the most impressive beaches in Balochistan, and is s home to fishermen of Gwadar. The damp sand and green water produces the best fish in all of Balochistan.
Sonmiani Beach is situated in Winder near Hub; its water is very pure and clean, and it is about two hours away from Karachi.
If you get a chance, don’t forget to visit one of these beautiful and famous beaches. The sad thing is that most of the beaches I have mentioned do not have basic amenities. If developed properly, they can become a great tourist attraction!
