Booklovers now have a chance to experience a staggering collection of one million new English books with 50-90 percent discounts. Big Bad Wolf Sale, an initiative by BookXcess, has been a landmark event in Kuala Lumpur since 2009 and is currently celebrating its 10th anniversary with a series of book sales across the region.

Readers can find bestseller titles from various categories, including romance, crime thriller, science fiction, business, self-help, children’s literature, and cookbooks.

The Big Bad Wolf Sale is also Asia’s exclusive seller of the “magical books” or also known as the augmented reality books. Using cutting edge AR technology that revolutionizes reading for the next generation, children are able to read, play and learn through these magical books.

For the first time Karachi will experience a 24-hour book sale from July 26 to Aug 5.

Red Readerhood, a CSR initiative, will also be a part of the sale to encourage visitors to donate books as well at the sale.

Pakistani female footballer Abiha Haider sets a world record by playing world’s longest (69 hours) match with over a total of 807 players from across 50 countries. The match was organized by Equal Playing Field in Lyon, France.

Pakistani law student Khadija Siddiqi, who was stabbed 23 times in broad daylight in Lahore, has completed her bar degree from City Law School. She has now officially become a barrister.
