A guy was on the side of a road hitchhiking on a very dark night and in the middle of a storm. The night was roiling and no car went by.
The storm was so strong he could hardly see a few feet ahead of him. Suddenly, he saw a car coming towards him and it stopped. The guy, without thinking about it, got in the car and closed the door — and only then realised that there was nobody behind the wheel.
The car started very slowly. The guy looked at the road and saw a curve coming his way. Scared, he started to pray.
He hadn’t come out of shock when, just before the car hit the curve, a hand appeared through the window and moved the wheel.
The guy, paralysed in terror, watched how the hand appeared every time they were approaching a curve.
The guy, gathering strength, got out of the car and ran all the way to the nearest town. Wet and in shock, he went inside a restaurant, and started telling everybody about the horrible experience he just went through.
About half an hour later, two guys walked into the same restaurant and one said to the other, “Look, Pepe, that’s the idiot that got in the car while we were pushing it!”
Billy looking for a new house
Billy Brown decided it was time to buy a new house, so he decided to sell his old house and put the matter in a real estate agent’s hands.
The agent wrote up a sales blurb for the house that made wonderful reading. After Billy read it, he turned to the agent and asked, “Does my house have everything your ad says it does?”
The agent said, “It certainly does. Why do you ask?”
Billy replied, “Cancel the sale. It’s exactly what I’m looking for!”
