A rising star in the fashion scene, Tauseef Khan kicked off his modelling career under the wing of legendary photographer Khawar Riaz, and he didn’t have to grind for years to get his shine. Tauseef is all about that hustle; he knows that being a model isn't just about looking good – it's about working hard on your physique and bringing an undeniable vibe that makes people want to snag whatever you’re selling.

Tauseef’s portfolio is stacked with impressive collaborations – think brands like Lawrencepur, J., Charcoal, Apollo Sports, and ELO alongside high-profile designers like Nickie Nina, Nauman Arfeen, Fahad Hussayn, and Mariyam Rizwan, among others. He has been walking the ramp at events including Bridal Couture and TDCP 2024, showing off a unique charm that’s hard to find anywhere else.

Beyond the runway, this gym freak pours his heart into fitness and sports, giving him that extra edge that makes his career glow brighter. When he’s not shooting, he's out there crushing it in volleyball, snagging the second position in the All-Pakistan Inter-Universities competition. Also accomplished at basketball, he’s even balled out at the national games, representing KP. He was also honoured with the best junior physique title in his district.

Us: How did you make it in the industry?

TK: So, back in my matric days, I totally fell in love with the world of modelling. The desire to look chic and fit just hit different. I dove into the gym and got serious about it. It took me a while to sculpt my best self, but during that journey, I was always on the hunt for chances to shine. I hit up designers and photographers for portfolio gigs. Then one day, I spotted this ad for a designer looking for fresh faces. I went for it, luck was on my side, and he connected me to the legendary Khawar Riaz. I seriously levelled up under his mentorship with three months of hardcore training – diet, fitness, styling, you name it. My first shoot was with Mariyam Rizwan, and since then, I’ve been working nonstop.

Us: Where do you study?

TK: I studied computer science and am currently doing graduation from Khyber Law College. I also earned a diploma in nutrition and dietetics from Punjab University.

Us: What do you chase: fame, money, or success?

TK: Honestly, I’m all about that success grind! I believe if you nail your goals, fame and money will follow like your shadow. For me, true success is all about feeling accomplished.

Us: Who has been your pillar of support?

TK: My mom has been my rock and an inspiration through everything. Professionally, I owe a whole lot to Sir Khawar; he really set the foundation for my success.

Us: With all the work coming your way, how do you maintain your energy levels?

TK: It's all about that gym life and sticking to my fitness game. When you nourish your body, it rewards you with insane levels of energy!

Us: Do you think good looks and connections make things easier?

TK: Having the looks and a few good connections gives you that initial boost, but at the end of the day, if you’re not passionate and sincere about your work, you won’t last long in the game.

Us: What has been the biggest moment for you?

TK: Walking the ramp and feeling like I was the centre of the universe – it’s unreal! That moment when all eyes are on you is what every model dreams of.

Us: How do you handle self-doubt?

TK: When doubt creeps in, I go for a run. It clears my head and gets me in the right mindset. I remind myself that I’ve come this far and there’s nothing that can hold me back. I’ve got the passion, the drive, the energy, and the skills to conquer anything!

Us: What role has social media played in your journey?

TK: Social media is a shortcut to getting noticed and snagging opportunities without breaking a sweat. It helped me slay.

MY TEENAGE YEARS

My date of birth is

My birthday is on April 24th – mark your calendars!

The best thing about being a teenager was

All the free time to chase my favourite sports: basketball and volleyball!

The worst thing about being a teenager was

The fights with friends during games.

Not cool, bro.

I was always listening to

I always listen to my heart, man.

It knows the way!

My favourite actors were

I’m a die-hard Shah Rukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor fan. They’re icons!

My favourite singer was

Atif Aslam all the way! His voice just hits differently. Oh, and I’m into this band called Awaz too.

My favourite superhero was

Gotta give mad love to Spider-Man. He’s the hero we all need.

My favourite movie was

My all-time fave has to be 3 Idiots. It’s a classic!

My closet was full of

Watches and shades for days! Accessories are key!

What used to hurt me the most was

Not being allowed by my family to join sports events. That stung, you know?

I wish I had known then that

I wish I had jumped into modelling sooner, like three or four years ago! Time waits for no one!

Relations with family were

Super solid! I’ve got two brothers and two sisters, and being the youngest means all the love flows my way!

My favourite and least favourite subjects were

I was all about chemistry and English – those were my jam. But Urdu? Nah, not my thing.

I couldn’t stand

Double standards – can’t deal with that! I can’t stand people being fake.

My favourite sport was

Basketball and volleyball, no question. They’re my vibe!
