With his sharp features and stunning looks, model-cum-actor Abdul Manan has all the potentials to establish his name as a credible actor in showbiz. Manan is a graduate from Lahore Garrison University. However, he had to go through a lot in order to make his place in the entertainment industry. Manan’s journey has been a roller coaster ride. He went through a series of audition and visited talent agencies and started his career as an extra. He struggled for three years to get his first paid gig in 2020. Then, slowly and gradually he started to get work. After a stream of noteworthy shoots for top brands, designers and a stream of TVCs, Manan has recently made a smooth transition to acting. These days, he is appearing as a supporting actor in drama serial ‘Meesni’ as Rafeel on a private channel. Though it is his debut serial, seeing his powerful performance, one can safely say that this lad will go places and soon will get lead roles. Generally people value material things but I value good times and happiness. And I also value people who have helped me in time of need.

I am a dreamer and to fulfill my dreams I work really hard, that’s what I like about myself.

Putting someone’s needs before yours. Love cannot be selfish.

What touches you the most?

I get touched when I come across people who show genuine kindness and compassion.

What bores you the most?

Monotony and routine work.

Something you are proud of…

Once I helped in building a community garden. People appreciated my good gesture and I felt very proud of doing something productive for the community.

Katy Perry, an American singer, who is known for her influence on modern pop music.

I do my work diligently; however, I have just started acting so you have to wait to see my best performance.

Genuine. I don’t like fake girls.

Delayed payments.

Do you believe in astrology?

Frankly speaking, I read my horoscope (just for fun sake) but I don’t believe in astrology as such.

One quality you would like to change in yourself?

I would like to be more patient. Sometimes, I become restless which is not good.

The most romantic place around the world you have ever been to?

I haven’t travelled much, but I have heard that Venice City is one of the most romantic places in the world. I would love to go there.

What is your deepest fear?

I think the deepest fear is the fear of the unknown.

Do you prefer love marriage, arranged marriage or you are happy being single?

Marriage is not on my cards at the moment.

I want to become a movie star one day!
