A photo of Fawad in character while shooting for his second Bollywood venture was recently published on an Indian website and shows the heartthrob sporting a look that marks a sharp contrast to Prince Vikram Singh Rathore in Khoobsurat. Dressed in a casual t-shirt and jeans, with a bag slung over his shoulders, this is the Fawad Khan of Zindagi Gulzar Hai, exuding a careless charm that had women swooning both in Pakistan and across the border.
Kapoor & Sons, which is slated for a 2016 release, is produced by Karan Johar and also stars Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt and Rishi Kapoor. Fawad and Sidharth play brothers who fall for the same girl. We’re happy to see our Lahori boy pulling off an entirely different look than his Bollywood debut and avoiding the pitfall of getting typecast after just one movie.
