Humayun Saeed, Sheheryar Munawar and Syra Shahroz starrer sci-fi Project Ghazi’s release was postponed in 2017 after its premiere in Karachi. The producers had announced that there are some technical glitches that they noticed during the premiere and would like to work on before opening the film for public screening.

After almost two years (the film was scheduled to release in July 2017 initially), the film finally has a release date that was announced along with the new trailer. It is expected to release on March 22, 2019 alongside Kamal Khan’s debut film Laal Kabootar, which is more of crime drama.

Touted as Pakistan’s first superhero film, Project Ghazi will see Sheheryar and Humayun as soldiers while Syra essays the role of a scientist. Directed by Nadir H. Shah and produced by Syed Mohammad Ali Raza, the film also features Talat Hussain as well as Adnan Jaffar - who will take on the role of antagonist, Katan.

Post the release of the film’s final trailer, Adnan took to social media and shared, “I am the antagonist Katan behind the mask up to super villainy. This should be good. A lot has been corrected, worked on. Hats off to the crew and post production. Fingers crossed.”

The recently released trailer looks more refined than the previous one, with improved sound quality and cinematography. Let’s wait and see if the technical glitches have been taken care of and the film lives up to probable potential.
