Written by renowned writer and humourist Dr. Younis Butt of Hum Sab Umeed Sai Hain fame and directed by Anjum Shahzad, the Feroze Khan-Sana Javed starrer Romeo Weds Heer airs on GEO Entertainment tomorrow and is being anticipated as one of the most entertaining drama serials on TV.
The Feroze-Sana onscreen couple has become a bit of a ‘thing’, with fans terming them #Sanroze on social media. The reason for their popularity began with super hit drama serial Khaani and continued with Mehreen Jabbar’s telefilm, Dino Ki Dulhaniya. Well, fans are about to get another fun dose of the duo with Romeo Weds Heer. Expected to have at least 22 episodes, the loud and crazy rom-com has an amazing supporting cast including the likes of Syed Shafaat Ali, Ali Safina, Saman Ansari and Firdous Jamal. Judging by what we have seen so far, the drama is going to establish some impressive characters and roles that will win hearts and will leave us with amusing one-liners too. ‘No more rona dhona’ is what we’re being told will be the story’s strongsuit.
Romeo Weds Heer has been produced by 7th Sky Entertainment and is scheduled to air tomorrow, October 21, on Geo Entertainment.
