After appearing in Khaani, a drama serial that broke all records on the ratings chart, Feroze Khan and Sana Javed are all geared up for their upcoming drama serial, Romeo Weds Heer.
This is the third time we will see Feroze and Sana share the screen – first it was Khaani, then the duo appeared in a romantic telefilm called Dino Ki Dulhaniya that aired on Eid-ul-Fitr and now their third project together is Romeo Weds Heer.
Produced by Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi of 7th Sky Entertainment, the title track of Romeo Weds Heer is already out and has been sung by Aima Baig and Sahir Ali Bhagga.
The music video for the track has been choreographed by Wahab Shah and teasers show the two actors in a new and fun avatar, dancing to the peppy tune, reflective of the drama itself.
Khaani dealt with grave social issues, such as politics, power and class differences that prevail in a society like ours but the upcoming Romeo Weds Heer is a romantic comedy that is in sharp contrast to its predecessor.
Directed by Anjum Shahzad, who also helmed the blockbuster drama Khaani and has won multiple awards, the play is written by Muhammad Younis Butt.
In an earlier interview, Feroze said, “Romeo Weds Heer is going to be one of the best films to be watched on TV.” Sounds like a full entertainer.
Romeo Weds Heer is scheduled to go on air on Geo Entertainment in October.
