We’ve been watching Syed Shafaat Ali being his usual entertaining self for quite a while. He first entertained us on the 4 Man Show and then again on Banana News with his hilarious and creepily accurate impersonations. But it’s in recent times that the comedian/actor has gone viral on the Internet.
We’ve been watching Syed Shafaat Ali being his usual entertaining self for quite a while. He first entertained us on the 4 Man Show and then again on Banana News with his hilarious and creepily accurate impersonations. But it’s in recent times that the comedian/actor has gone viral on the Internet. A video featuring Shafaat went viral earlier this year with him delivering spot-on impersonations of some of our political figures, such as Bilawal Bhutto and Imran Khan. Since then, the Interweb keeps a close eye on his social media activity.
His most recent video has caught everyone’s attention since it features Shafaat mimicking 24 different singers (with a majority hailing from Pakistan and India with a few international names like Bryan Adams thrown in for good measure).
He has done such a good job of imitating their singing styles that he sounds exactly like them! He starts off the video with veteran singers Sajjad Ali and Ali Haider and goes on to include the likes of Ahmed Jehanzeb, Shehzad Roy, Atif Aslam, Ali Zafar, Jawad Ahmed, Abrar-ul-Haq, Mehdi Hasan amongst a few. From across the border, Shafaat impersonated Arijit Singh, Sonu Nigam and Udit Narayan.
