It is interesting to see actors working in TV and films simultaneously. Ever since the revival of Pakistani cinema began, a lot of artists have made their big screen debut but the good thing is that they haven’t stopped working in TV plays. Case in point: Sana Javed and Feroze Khan.
Javed, who’s gearing up for the release of her debut film Mehrunisa V Lub U and Khan, who made his film debut with Zindagi Kitni Haseen Hay last, have paired for two upcoming TV productions.
One is a TV play, titled Khaani, which is directed by Anjum Shahzad.
“We recently wrapped up Khaani,” Javed, who is playing the titular character, Khaani, told Instep. “I can’t disclose much about the play at the moment except that it’s a serious story.”
The second production in which Javed and Khan will share screen space is a telefilm directed by Mehreen Jabbar who is known for telling compelling stories. The untitled telefilm is in sharp contrast with Khaani as it’s a light hearted comedy.
Coming back to Javed’s upcoming debut film, Mehrunisa V Lub U, the film is all set to release on Eid ul Fitr this year and features her opposite Danish Taimoor. Directed by Yasir Nawaz, it also star veteran actor Javed Sheikh in a pivotal role.
