Hania Amir is everywhere these days. She has two TV plays on air, two films coming up and a successful Sunsilk commercial that has really put her in the limelight. Here’s what we know about her upcoming films. Amir is starring in Nabeel Qureshi’s Na Maloom Afraad 2 opposite Mohsin Abbas Haider, and Haseeb Hasan’s Parwaaz Hai Junoon opposite Hamza Ali Abbasi and Ahad Raza Mir. Both films have successful names and star casts and we can imagine what a big deal this must be for the upcoming actress.

However, success hasn’t come easily to Amir as one of her roles has been a lot more challenging than she thought it to be. Amir shares her experience working on the air force film PHJ and talks about the physical challenges she had to overcome. “We had to do a lot of training because we play cadets in the film. We used to wake up early morning and play basketball and perform all sorts of exercise like push-ups and kicks. We also did horse riding there. All of this was done to get into the skin of our characters.”

She further explained that at times the cast had to shoot in extremely cold weather. “We also shot in freezing temperatures in Naltar. It was -22 when we shot there and we have scenes in which we’re falling in the snow. After the scene would be shot, it would take us half an hour just to get warm because our socks and gloves would get wet from the snow.”
