Her upcoming film Meri Pyaari Bindu that stars her opposite Ayushmann Khurrana, is special for her since she has sang one of the film’s track, ‘Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahin’ that marks her singing debut.
As soon as Parineeti shared the song on her official Twitter handle, it went viral within minutes with a lot of praise pouring in from celebs and fans. The song features Parineeti who is apparently enjoying some alone time after a supposed break-up.
Those who flooded her wall with compliments include Ayushmann Khurrana (her co-star in the film who was the first one to share the song), Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Kunal Kapoor, and of course her cousin sister Priyanka Chopra.
Priyanka tweeted, “Proud of u baby! Your daddy will be proud! So would mine!” to which Parineeti responded, “THANKYUUU mimi didi want to follow your footsteps!!! Papa is happy.”
‘Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahin’ is composed by Sachin-Jigar with lyrics by Kausar Munir. The film Meri Pyaari Bindu is directed by Akshay Roy and is set in Kolkata. It is scheduled to release on May 12, this year.
