As most of the music fraternity slowly and steadily makes its way towards films and television, one particular musician also decided to try his hand at acting. However, after what he went through, it doesn’t seem as though Fuzon’s front-man Emu is interested in ever acting again.

“I generally don’t have any interest in acting and when Shaan approached me for this role, I was not at all considering it,” Emu told Instep in a brief telephonic conversation. “I told Shaan that I won’t be any good at it but after much insistence from Shaan, I decided to help him out with it. Also, I had to play the character of a musician in the film, which was another major reason behind me saying yes.”

Emu then shot for a total of 21 days alongside Shaan for the film. “I was really scared on the first day. I had absolutely no idea how to go about it. But people on the set told me I did well so I guess it went okay,” said Emu.

However, it was during his dubbing session that Emu received a huge shock. “When I saw the scenes that had been selected for the film, I was shocked to see that I’m barely in the film!” Emu laughed uncontrollably as he explained his ordeal. “Of course I’m extremely disappointed and gutted. I worked hard for so many days and I’m being featured in only one scene. I had a fully developed character in the film but none of those details were in there.”

Clearly Emu has no desire to go back to acting. “I wanted to help my friend and contribute to music, since it’s a musical film and also features many other big musicians. But I have no desire to act again,” Emu laughed his hearty laugh yet again as he concluded the conversation.
