Ariana Grande debuts in The Voice with amazing campout promo

American singer Ariana Grande seemed excited to be part of America's singing competition The Voice as she has recently made her debut in the campy season 21. NBC has released a promo of Ariana Grande joining her fellow coaches on the show.

The new season of the singing contest will begin on September 20 this year. The contest series will air on NBC.

Apart from the 28-year-old singer, the contest's music coaches include American singer Blake Shelton, singer John Legend and singer-actress Kelly Clarkson. In the promo of The Voice Campout, all of them are seen sitting around a campfire in a jungle.

The promo shows John Legend notices something unusual in the sky. Blake Shelton also looks up and finds out it is Ariana Grande descending from the stars. She is seen sitting on a huge crescent. On arrival, she sits among them saying sorry for being late.

Then, Kelly Clarkson tells her about The Voice's tradition that every new coach sings a song to her fellows. Though she excuses, she bursts into singing Olivia Newton-John’s “Hopelessly Devoted to You,” from the 1978 classic Grease.

Ariana Grande has replaced Nick Jonas. She says she will miss Nick Jonas. “Surprise! I am beyond thrilled, honored [and] excited to be joining Kelly Clarkson, John Legend and Blake Shelton next season — Season 21 of The Voice,” Grande had said in a tweet in March. “Nick Jonas, we will miss you!”

The contestants of the music contest are coached by top-notch singers. Some of the previous coaches are Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera, CeeLo Green, Shakira, Usher, Pharrell Williams, Miley Cyrus, Alicia Keys and Jennifer Hudson.
