ISLAMABAD: Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad arrived in Islamabad on three-day official visit to Pakistan.
Mahathir Mohamad received a red carpet welcome at Nur Khan Airbase, where PM Imran Khan, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and other ministers and officials received him.
The Malaysian PM Mahathir was accorded 21-gun-salute upon his arrival in Islamabad.
Malaysian Prime Minister, Dr Mahathir Mohamad is visiting Pakistan at the invitation of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The Malaysian Prime Minister will be accompanied by a high-level delegation including several leading businessmen.
During his stay, Dr. Mahathir Mohamad will be the Guest of Honour at the Pakistan Day Parade on 23rd March, Radio Pakistan reported.
Pakistan is expected to sign $900 million deals with the Malaysian investors during the visit of Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad.
Reuters quoted advisor to PM Imran Khan, Razzaq Dawood, reported that Memoranda of Understanding worth $800 to $900 million of investment would be signed with the Malaysian investors on Friday.
