Toy story 4 rolls out trailer introducing new character Forky

The children’s classic is back with  a fourth installment. Toy story 4 has released a teaser from its trailer. No plot has been revealed but a new addition in the toy box, Forky.

Voiced by Tony Hale, Forky makes a brief appearance in the trailer. In the clip, the toys play and dance around in a circle until the camera pans to poor old Forky, who immediately freaks out. All of the characters then begin to fall suggesting Forky’s panicking will lead to some kind of huge disruption for the gang.

Pixar wrote: “Woody has always been confident about his place in the world and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that’s Andy or Bonnie. “But when Bonnie adds a reluctant new toy called “Forky” to her room, a road trip adventure alongside old and new friends will show Woody how big the world can be for a toy.”

Toy Story 4 is directed by Inside Out co-writer Josh Cooley and is due for release on 21 Jun 2019, nine years after Toy Story 3.

Toy story 3 remains the fifth highest grossing animated film of all time at the US box office.
