TEXAS, USA: The 18th Annual Kite Festival was held in an island of Texas, which was the place for people of all age groups. It was the sight to visit as the sky filled up with unique colours and designs.
The Festival Awards were given to winners of several categories that were the most unique, the highest flown, the largest in size, the most kites flown in one time and the most expensive kite flown.
The event also hosted hydrofoil racing which allowed thrill-seekers to fly a kite in the air. The event was open to all.
Professional flyers were also present at the event, so were the professional photographers.
The festival continued for three days in the third consecutive year and thousands of people reached the coastal area to enjoy the event.
The kites were flown ‘within a designated area’. Kites up to 50 inches wide were welcomed at the event.
