Luke Daley, an Arizona man who was previously detained by the investigators over the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, has now been booked into the Pima County jail.

According to Jonathan Lee Riches, a self-styled investigator on social media, the possible charges against the arrested individual are weapons and drug charges.

Based on available information, his arrest does not appear linked to Guthrie's case.

Previously, Daley was detained by SWAT during an operation nearly two weeks after the 84-year-old went missing.

According to reports at the time, Arizona police questioned the resident for nearly five hours.

Beside him, his mother, Mary Chapman Daley, was also detained and subsequently investigated separately.

Later, both were released, but Daley at the time strenuously denied involvement in Guthrie's disappearance.

“I have thought of any type of reason why they could have come after me, but there’s nothing, and I think that’s why they didn’t tell me,” Luke said.

But his release didn't stop speculation online. To them, Daley said, “I mean, for my personal interest, I would just say just not to go off speculation of everything you hear on the internet and kind of like the hive mind mentality that someone says something and then they just go off of it based on no evidence, no truth."

He continued, "But I mean, in terms of moving forward, I just want to be cleared and have actual verification that I was cleared by the FBI and sheriff, whoever else.”

In the same interview with Arizona Family, he emphatically denied being the person behind the masked man who was caught on camera lurking outside Nancy's home before her disappearance.

“It’s not me. I don’t see the resemblance of it looking like me. But absolutely not. I’ve nothing to do with this case. Nothing to do with it.”

Meanwhile, eight months have passed since Nancy disappeared from her home in Tucson, Arizona.
