Harvard ends shelter-in-place order after bomb threat

Earlier, a bomb threat was made by an unknown person targeting one of Harvard University key building, the Memorial Hall.

In response, the univeersity placed a shelter-in-place order for the staff and students near the said area.

Then, the evacuation of the Memorial Hall was ordered as Cambridge police combed the building for sign of any explosive material.

According to Boston Globe, now the shelter-in-place order is lifted and the officials from the Harvad has issued a update to their emergency alert on the webpage made specifially for such announcement.

“Following instructions from law enforcement on the scene,” the university said, adding, with time more information would be released.

It is immediately unclear whether the police has discovered an explosive device or the person who made the threat.
