The musical couple got married in October 2008 and it's been nearly 18 years since their marriage. Moreover the couple share two children, son Judah Quinn Ivey and daughter Ramona Lynn Ivey.
In a recent interview with People Magazine, Margo spoke about finding balance between their professional and personal lives, saying, “We’re still working on that.”
While the husband expressed gratitude, stating, “We know we’re lucky. So whenever public and personal intertwine and people see u s... we’re their fans. I never feel bad about it, or I’m never annoyed. I’m always thankful.”
Margo added, “It’s a beautiful thing, [to] keep working, and I think just trying to find joy in the playing all the time, because sometimes when you are, you know, going up for awards, winning awards, losing awards, it can muddy why you’re doing it. We always want to try to stay true to the reason why we’re making music.”
She went on to say, “I think really it’s just trying to stay true to myself again and make the art that I wanna make and, um, yeah, not get distracted by any of the other things around, which is, it’s not easy to do.”
It is worth noting here that the husband and wife duo’s son Ezra died from a congenital heart condition just two weeks after his birth in 2010.
Speaking about their journey amid life changes, Margo said, “Staying together through tragedies and all these life changes is kind of miracle because I think in the music business ... we’ve been together for 21 years ... that’s got to be like 61 years in the music business.”
“I feel like we’re finally at the place where we’re like, ‘Okay, we made it. We’re here,’ she further added.
For those unaware, Margo Price has been nominated three times for Grammy; moreover she was nominated for Best New Artist in 2019.
