Kim Kardashian breaks silence after past health scare laid bare
The reality star latest social media comes as shocking health revelation takes spotlight
Kim Kardashian has broken her silence after her past health scare, documented during the season eight of The Kardashians, sparked concern among fans.
The 44-year-old TV personality took to her Instagram account on Thursday to share a rare throwback of her younger years.
In the candid post, Kim posted a series of snaps, mostly of her teenage era, in which she can be seen hanging out with pals, being goofy, partying with her sisters, a raunchy photo in white bra and many more.
Reflecting on her good old days, she penned, "Back in the day."
As for the past health scare, in the latest teaser of her Hulu show, Kim was shown on a hospital bed wearing a hospital gown and no makeup.
She revealed in the trailer that she had "something called esophagitis."
For those unaware esophagitis is caused by inflammation of the esophagus commonly known as food pipe.
As the clip continues, a voice from the background can be heard, saying, "Didn't your father…isn't it what he died of?"
Then the camera panned towards Kim's mother, Kris Jenner, who was visibly shocked and emotional.
The momager said in a confessional, "I can't; it makes me want to cry."
It is pertinent to mention that Kim's father, Rob Kardashian passed away at the of age 59 in 2003 after a battle with esophageal cancer.
