Javier Bardem has been one of the most celebrated actors in the industry. Now, he is adding another feather to his cap.

That is a lifetime achievement award at the Rome Film Festival.

Paolo Sorrentino, an Italian director best known for The Great Beauty, which won an Oscar, will present the award.

At the festival, the actor will also present his new movie, The Beloved.

The logline reads, "An acclaimed Spanish director reunites with his estranged daughter, an unsuccessful actress, to shoot a film."

"The two need to handle their strained relationship and past issues neither wants to address directly."

The film previously premiered at Cannes.

In addition, Bardem has yet another new movie titled The Bunker, which was screened at the Venice Film Festival.

The film's synopsis reads that it follows a "married couple of 17 years. The husband is an architect who accepts a controversial project to build a survivalist bunker for a tech billionaire. This decision leads his wife to question their marriage."

The Bunker is set to hit North American cinemas in early 2027, and The Beloved will plan to open in American theatres in late 2026.
