Christian Bale just 'changed' the model of foster care
Christian Bale has been a linchpin in transforming the foster-care model
Often, when children enter foster care, they are usually separated from their siblings. Here is Christian Bale.
He helped generate funds to set up a foster care village in Palmdale, California, under the banner of Together California.
The facility aims to reunite siblings who are typically separated when one enters foster care.
According to Bale, "It's our job to turn their heartbreak and their pain into love and hope and a sense of future."
Per ABC, the facility hosts a 11,000-square-foot community that has 12 furnished homes.
The foster-care site is also set to provide safe environments for children and their families.
Tim McCormick, executive director of Together California, said, "A place where everyone is welcomed, a place that keeps families together, a place that creates community, a place where you can find hope in the most challenging of times."
Donations, the organizers said, helped form the Christian-American West's West were a key, or example, raising almost $9 million.
Veronika Reinelt, Austrian American Council West President, said, "Perhaps the greatest legacy we can leave is not that our names will be remembered, but that children's lives are better because we cared."
Meanwhile, the community will begin settling into their new home.
