Lainey Wilson marks return as host at the 2026 CMA awards for the third time

Lainey Wilson is returning to host the 60th Annual Country Music Association Awards.

The country star will mark her third consecutive year in the role, and her second consecutive year as the show's solo host.

Country music’s milestone ceremony will take place on Wednesday November 18, live from Nashville's Bridgestone Arena.

"I couldn't be more excited to be hosting the CMA Awards again this year, especially with it being the 60th anniversary," Wilson gushed when the news was announced on Saturday.

"I've had so much fun hosting the last two years, and this one's going to be extra special. Can't wait to see y'all in November!" she added.

The 12-time CMA Award winner has hosted the ceremony for the past three years, first sharing the stage with Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning in 2024 before returning as the show's solo host in 2025.

This year's ceremony will mark the 60th anniversary of the CMA Awards, which first aired in 1967 and is the longest-running annual music awards programme on network television.

The show will celebrate the artists, songwriters, musicians and industry professionals who have helped shape country music over the past six decades.

It is also pertinent to mention that CMA will reveal the nominees for the 60th annual ceremony on Thursday, September 10.
