Nicola Peltz puts Brooklyn Beckham in spotlight after major career win
Nicola Peltz gets emotional as she receives a prestigious honour in Venice
Brooklyn Beckham's wife Nicola Peltz is over the moon as the actress won the Rising Star award at the Kinéo Awards.
The model-turned-actress received the prestigious honour on Saturday at the Venice Film Festival for her performance in the indie drama Prima and said special thanks to her husband who "always" believed in her.
It is pertinent to mention that Nicola played the role of a ballerina starring alongside, Faye Dunaway in the show.
She began her acceptance speech saying, “Hi everyone. I am normally more comfortable playing a character as an actor than standing in front of an audience, so please bear with me.
“Thank you so much for this immense honour. To receive an award at the Venice Film Festival is something I will carry with me for the rest of my career.”
Expressing her gratitude to her family and Brooklyn, who was also sitting in the audience, she continued, “My family are my everything. My mum, dad, (brothers) Diesel and Brad and Brooklyn thank you. You always believe in me.
“To have your support is the reason I can reach to the stars in the first place.”
Nicola also called her costar Faye, an “inspiration."
For the event Nicola donned a simple halter-neck black gown and large emerald earrings as she walked down the red carpet of the event with Brooklyn.
