Bad Bunny's halftime show takes home major Emmy wins

Bad Bunny has won his first Emmy for his performance during the Super Bowl Halftime Show.

The show got seven nominations in total. It won several big awards, including music direction, choreography, sound mixing, lighting design, camerawork, and directing.

The performance was widely praised for how big and detailed the show was. It featured famous stars, along with real moments like an actual wedding and small business owners incorporated into the show's set design.

Creative director Harriet Cuddeford talked about the idea behind the show. She said it was made to celebrate everyday people and show themes like community, joy, and being real. 

She said the show was meant to honour Bad Bunny's culture and community by putting real people on one of the biggest stages in the world.

"This was to show how much he values his community, to celebrate normal people on the world’s biggest stage, especially people who are of importance in Latino culture. He’s a very authentic person, Benito, and it’s about just being authentic and very real and very human,” she told Variety.

The Super Bowl Halftime Show has gotten bigger and more creative over the years. This year's show stood out for celebrating culture and telling real stories in a huge live event.
