Meghan Markle and Prince Harry left their Montecito mansion in the US without “a bang", reveals their neighbors.

After the Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved out of their house in California for a reported longer stay in the UK, their neighbors reported that there was no hubbub or show while they were leaving, instead, they left “with a whimper."

A neighbor told the Daily Mail, “There were no moving trucks, no parties, nothing at all."

“One day they were here and the next they were back in England," the resident claimed.

Another neighbor claimed, “I’m out and about in Montecito a lot and never saw them. I doubt anyone would have noticed they’d left if it hadn’t been reported in the news.”

A third resident named Susan told the outlet that she had seen Harry and Markle running errands but never met them after they rejected a welcoming gift she sent them back in 2020.

“I left a bottle of wine at their gate to welcome them and it was returned to me, unopened, the following day,” she claimed.

“I’m not sure they ever wanted to hang out with anyone who wasn’t a billionaire or famous or both," the neighbor added.

The publisher also reported that any traces of Meghan and Harry were removed from the local shops like Harry's memoir Spare and Markle's As Ever products.

Boutique owner Wendy Foster noted Markle was “very polite" with her while dealing. However, she questioned why Harry and Meghan were living in the US, as "don’t mean much in terms of status," Foster said, adding, “In Britain their titles mean something.”

It is pertinent to mention that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, along with their kids, Archie and Lilibet, have already landed on UK soil in a private jet on 26 August
