Inside ‘independent’ Meghan Markle’s UK return: Everything to expect

Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex has finally touched down in the country that she’s previously spoken out against. However, with their move having been undertaken as private citizens one expert has come forward to offer a more positive outlook.

On behalf of Cafe Casino its brand and culture expert Nick Ede thats come forward.

He spoke rather candidly and began with admissions like, “I imagine Meghan would approach it with very mixed emotions.”

After all Britain was “the setting for her wedding” and “one of the most extraordinary chapters of her life, but it is also associated with intense scrutiny, negative headlines and a period she has described as deeply painful.”

Now as a private citizen she “would not be arriving as a new royal expected to learn an unfamiliar system; she would be coming back as an independent woman with her own businesses, profile and boundaries.”

Mr Ede believes “that could make the experience feel much more manageable.”

Moreover, near the end he also offered a more ‘realistic’ burst of reality and optimism mixed together when saying, “she may never feel entirely relaxed about the British media, but a private home and clearly defined separation from royal duties could allow her to engage with the UK on her own terms.”
