Princess Beatrice attends funeral of Sarah Ferguson's former boyfriend
McNally died peacefully on July 22 following a long illness
Princess Beatrice on Friday attended the funeral of Paddy McNally, the former boyfriend of Sarah Ferguson.
Beatrice, the elder daughter of Sarah and Andrew, was among the mourners and entered the church from a private road on McNally’s adjoining estate.
Sarah’s ex-partner motorsport tycoon Paddy McNally died aged 88.
McNally died peacefully on July 22 following a long illness – just two months after the sudden death of his son Sean.
Sarah, who has not been seen since pictured in Austria in April, did not attend the service in Wiltshire on Friday, according to a report by the Sun.
They remained close friends and he supported the former Duchess financially over the years and let her stay in his “cocaine castle” ski chalet in Verbier.
Paddy's personal assistant told the outlet, “This is a private family funeral.
“It’s just for local yokels today. He had an amazing life.”
Meanwhile, there are claims the late Formula One advertising mogul has left Sarah Ferguson ‘an allowance’ following his death at the age of 88 last month.
He leaves behind an estimated £600million fortune, built on the sale of his hospitality business Allsport Management for £262million in 2006, as per the Daily Mail.
McNally and Sarah dated for three years that ended in 1985.
