Harry and Meghan’s US stay called titanic moment in modern royal history
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex returned to the United Kingdom with their children
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s staunch critic Piers Morgan has launched a scathing attack against the royal couple on their return to the United Kingdom.
Morgan lashed out at the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in the latest episode of his Uncensored show.
The British journalist said: “Harry and Meghan's bombshell strop to America was a titanic moment in modern royal history. So much so that it famously had a name, Megxit, which came to define a whole era of public mudslinging and media frenzy.
Their big return to the UK, on the other hand, well, it's all a bit sad, isn't it? Maybe we'll come to know it as simply 'Megsh_t', a sad and underwhelming return under drizzly Birmingham skies to a country which they clearly don't like and where the public clearly doesn't like them. We don't officially know why they're back.
It's certainly not by popular demand, but we can make an educated guess. Harry had a multi-million-pound bill to pay for the disastrous and failed legal challenge against the Daily Mail and its journalists. They are still fighting for British taxpayers to pay for their security, and they might think hanging around the place will force the issue. Spoiler alert: it won't.”
