King Charles 'backing off' on further cementing of relations with Meghan Markle, Harry

The royal insiders have claimed that King Charles is ‘backing off’ a little on further cementing of his ties with son Prince Harry and daughter-in-law Meghan Markle following their reunion last month.

According to a report by the Woman’s Day, the palace insiders have claimed that the monarch is getting flack for his renewed closeness with the California-based royal couple, and is now backing off a little on a further cementing of relations.

However, Meghan and Harry are in much more of a ‘hurry’ to keep building on things.

The insiders said King Charles wants this relationship, but he wants to “rebuild it at a pace that’s comfortable for him.”

“The problem is, it’s becoming pretty obvious that the Sussexes are in much more of a hurry to keep building on things,” the close confidant said and adds, “Harry wants to see his dad as often as physically possible.”

Moreover, Harry is already talking about Christmas, and there’s all this discussion about wanting Charles to join him at Invictus in 2027.

The source went on to claim, Harry “keeps pushing”, as does his wife Meghan.

The spy adds Meghan and Harry want to “make up for lost time”, and Charles “appreciates” that, but as far as the monarch is concerned, it “needs to be baby steps.”

“Charles is just trying to take things as they come and keep the relationship on a more casual footing.”

The fresh claims came after Meghan Markle allegedly discussed the UK trip at a party in US following their return after meeting with King Charles.
