Princesses Beatrice, Eugenie’s emotions surface: ‘Our parents made colossal errors of judgment not us’

Even without association, verdict nor proof, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie have found themselves staring down the barrel of a gun that spells their own demise, metaphorically. Reason being, the world isn’t offering them enough sympathy for their association to parents who rubbed shoulders with a surprising crowd.

For those unversed, Andrew and Sarah Ferguson are both suffering the consequences of their friendships, especially to a convicted sex offender like Jeffrey Epstein. As a result of the media backlash, the girls’ father wound up losing his dukedom, his honors, his titles and even the 30-bedroom lodge he enjoyed for decades, in favor of a smaller abode like Marsh Farm.

Their mother suffered a similar fate, however she wasn’t awarded a royal residence because she is no longer married to the Duke and was therefore forced into self-imposed exile to escape the British media frenzy.

Now a well-placed source warns her daughters consequences might be beginning too.

According to Heat, “It’s very demoralising, and they’re struggling to understand why there isn’t a little more sympathy for them. From their point of view, all they’ve done is try to live their lives. It’s their parents who have made these colossal errors of judgment, not them, and yet they’re being painted with the same brush.”

The insider also says, “it seems that they’re being treated as collateral damage, which does feel incredibly unfair, but the situation is what it is. They are having to accept that there’s nothing they can do to change what’s happened or how the public perceives them in relation to their parents’ sins.”

But thats not even the worst of it because the source warns, their efforts to keep their heads down didn’t do any good either, at least not to the extent that they hoped because even their royal invites as of late are starting to feel like their being “thrown a bone” because most of them are last-minute invites. Reportedly, “they can’t always work out whether that’s because the royals genuinely still care about them or because the family doesn’t want to look as though they’re being too harsh. Either way, it’s very difficult for Beatrice and Eugenie to feel as though they have a secure place within the fold.”

Another thing they mentioned, which was near the end is that “they’re also grateful that William, Charles and the other senior members of The Firm haven’t completely shut them out, although they’re very much in limbo.”

All in all, the insider’s concluding remarks showed them saying, “It’s incredibly upsetting, particularly because all of this is happening at a time when Eugenie has a newborn, and Beatrice is trying to save her marriage; it’s turned into the summer from hell. They’re still trying to process everything they’ve already been through, and it just feels like one nightmare after another.”
