On August 12, millions flocked to Spain to witness the rare total solar eclipse, the first to cross the country in over a century, but the Spanish Olympic skater made this celestial event memorable with his epic trick.

Two-time Olympian Danny Leon performed a dramatic skateboard trick after timing a breath-taking mid-air stunt with a total solar eclipse in rural Spain.

The 31-year-old, who finished ninth at the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics, successfully launched off a ramp to silhouette his trick directly against the eclipsed sun.

Leon shared the footage on social media with the caption "the move of my life," quickly amassing millions of views within hours.

Soon after posting the video showing a rare blend of sporting skill and celestial event, Leon’s post went viral and drew heart-warming reactions from people globally.

One user commented, “This skateboard trick may never be eclipsed. Danny León, a Spanish Olympic skateboarder, set up this shot and landed it during today's eclipse in Spain. Perfect planning!”

Another wrote, “it would be my profile pic on everything possible for the rest of time.”

“That is absolutely awesome on so many levels!” The third one wondered.
