Prince Harry wants to spend more time with King Charles, says expert

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle wan to spend more time with King Charles in their increasing trips to the United Kingdom, said a royal commentator.

Speaking to GB News, Richard Fitzwilliams said: "Their plan is undoubtedly to see more of Britain, to come over more often and see more of the King."

Commenting on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s alleged efforts to convince King Charles to attend the 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham, Fitzwilliams said, "The plan is one thing, the execution is another."

Last month, King Charles and Queen Camilla met Prince Harry, his wife Meghan and their two children Highgrove estate in western England.

It was Charles' first meeting with his grandchildren Archie, 7, and Lilibet, 5, since 2022.

Harry has visited Britain just once or twice a year since he moved to the US with Meghan and their children, after a high-profile falling out with his father and his elder brother, Prince William.

Charles, 77, is undergoing treatment for cancer and has rarely seen his two grandchildren since they were born.

Harry said last year he wanted to reconcile with his family, as ‌he ⁠did "not know how much longer my father has."
