‘Natural leader’ Princess Charlotte steps forward: ‘She relishes this’

Princess Charlotte has just been handed the reigns to the future of the Firm, and this move coincides directly with Prince George’s upcoming admission into Eton College.

For those unversed, Princess Charlotte is currently the second-youngest, and only-daughter of Prince William and Kate Middleotn who is often compared to Princess Diana and hailed for her behavior in public settings. There have even been photographed events where she’s see shushing her youngest brother Prince Louis, or rubbing shoulders with apparent confidence with her older brother.

Now with him moving into Eton, which is a boarding school, a source has come forward to say that she might be seen more and more, and take up the mantle her brother will leave behind for his studies.

Regarding the 11-year-old the insider tells New Idea, “Charlotte’s having to take up the mantle left by George at boarding school, but it’s nothing she’s fazed by at all.”

“She relishes being given more responsibilities – she’s a natural leader and is often the one to pull both her brothers into line at public events.”

“Louis is still being carefully protected and growing up in a world that’s as ‘normal as possible’ but he’s starting to understand that his mum and dad are special and not every kid’s grandad is a king.”

“He’s going to miss his brother but is following Charlotte’s lead and being strong and brave.”
